Heil Environmental Industries' 1520 Scissor Hoist is designed to convert flatbeds to dump trucks. The new lift works on two-axle vehicles with GVW of 10,000 to 30,000 lb. A double-acting electric power unit is standard, with a direct-mount application as an option. According to Heil, the hoist has a Class 30 NTEA rating, yet is priced comparably to lifts with lower ratings.
