Fleet Owner parent buys TTS

Prism Business Media, parent company of Fleet Owner magazine, recently acquired Transportation Technical Services (TTS), which produces trucking databases and operates FleetSeek, a vertical search engine with information on more than 200 carriers.

TTS, which will be re-branded as “Fleet Owner's FleetSeek,” will become part of Prism's truck and auto group, which includes Fleet Owner and Ward's.

Based in Fredericksburg, VA, the firm gathers and analyzes information on fleet operations; customers include truck OEMs, suppliers, logistics companies, financial firms and analysts.

In addition to FleetSeek, TTS produces eight database/directory products, including the National Motor Carrier Directory, the Private Fleet Directory and the Blue Book of Trucking Companies.
