KW longer day cab

Driver comfort is the focus for Kenworth's T800 extended day cab dump truck, previewed at the World of Concrete Show in Las Vegas last month. The OEM has lengthened the cab by six inches and raised the roof five inches. The more spacious cab gives drivers an extra two inches of belly and leg room, more head room, and a driver's seat with a 21-deg. recline. And storage space has been increased by 2.5 cu. ft. In spite of these extensions, Kenworth says the cab is only 150 lb. heavier than the traditional day cab. Options will include Kenworth proprietary corner windows, and back of cab and side of cab mounted exhaust.
