Grote Industries has launched two new LED products for the truck market. First off are single- and dual-system LED backup lamps that Grote notes use fewer white LEDs, thus reducing power consumption.
Models are available for all trailer applications. The single-system backup lamp emits the same amount of light as two dual system lamps, as mandated by FMVSS.
Also new is a series of SuperNova LED dome lamps. Fleets can select from four LED models: surface-mount cab dome, rectangular trailer dome, 4-in. dia. metal-flange dome, and 4-in. grommet-mounted dome lamp.
Use of the SuperNova white LED dome lamps eliminates the need to replace bulbs and means the lamp will last the life of the vehicle.
