According to Dana, the tag axle has the same external geometry as standard drive axles, which means the conventional torque rod brackets and axles seats compatible with air-ride suspensions can be used. Housing profile and box size are common with Dana Spicer's DS404 tandem drive axle for 6x4 configurations.
