The 20th annual upgrades for PC*Miler and PC*Miler/HazMat routing, mileage and mapping software include over 771,000 miles of truck-specific roadways and 350,000 miles of truck restrictions, according to developer ALK Technologies.

The new PC*Miler 20 allows users to reconcile GPS-generated latitude/longitude records with the application's database to generate accurate actual-miles-driven routes. Other new enhancements include the ability to track and summarize distances traveled by road type and a hub mode that generates routes and mileages from one point to any number of destinations.

PC*Miler/HazMat includes all of those updates plus new routing for caustic and flammable categories recently added for bridges like the Ambassador Bridge between Detroit and Windsor, Ontario.
