Xata to sell SkyBitz solutions

Xata Corp. has become a “value-added reseller” for SkyBitz remote asset management solutions.

SkyBitz said the agreement will further enhance the ability of both companies to provide “a greater holistic solution to help customers maximize their fleets and operations,” said Homaira Akbari, president & CEO, SkyBitz.

Xata said that according to a study by Cambridge Strategic Management Group, a provider of strategic consulting services, SkyBitz can reduce a fleet's trailer-to-tractor ratio by about 15%, which, when integrated with Xata's fleet management solutions, can generate significant savings on fleet operations costs. www.xata.com
