Continental's HTR2 all-position wide-base tire for construction vehicles, which replaces the HTR model, is designed for 20% more wear volume through a wider tread pattern and increased tread depth, according to the manufacturer. With tread depth now at 22/32 in., and wider shoulder ribs as well, the tire reduces stone trapping and is cut- and chip-resistant. The new tire is available in sizes 385/65R22.5 and 445/65R22.5 in load range L.
