Bendix manager co-chairs brand protection council

Andrew Cifranic will serve as co-chair of the Motor & Equipment Manufacturers Association (MEMA) Brand Protection Council

Bendix Commercial Vehicle System has announced that brand manager Andrew Cifranic will serve as co-chair of the Motor & Equipment Manufacturers Association (MEMA) Brand Protection Council.

The council is designed to address the challenges of intellectual property, diversion, noncompliant products, and counterfeiting issues, providing a forum for industry members to discuss best practices.

Cifranic has been with Bendix and its European affiliate Knorr-Bremse for eight years, and has been brand manager since July 2006. He was featured speaker at the Technology Anti-counterfeiting and Gray Market Fraud Summit in March 2007 and has represented transportation on a U.S. Chamber of Commerce panel, speaking on counterfeit parts.
