FMCSA webinar to highlight technology

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) will host a webinar on Wednesday, May 13 from 12 noon to 1 pm EDT that will focus on trucking industry programs underway within FMCSA's Technology Div.

The recently released Motor Carrier Efficiency report will also be reviewed. Acting Technology Division Chief Michael Johnsen and members of the Technology Div. team will discuss the projects' objectives and key findings, and said they will engage webinar participants on the tough questions relating to how to pay for these systems, their effectiveness and benefits, privacy concerns and other issues.
