Hendrickson taps Parr

Hendrickson has named John Parr vp of international business development. He will be responsible for many aspects of the company’s business strategy and global marketplace activity, the company said.

Parr, who will report directly to Hendrickson president & CEO Gary Gerstenslager, will be based in the United Kingdom and work closely with vp of international sales & marketing Baine Adams to identify growth opportunities for the company.

Parr comes to the company from German truck and rail braking system supplier Knorr-Bremse. He previously was COO for Asia Pacific Truck, based in Hong Kong.
