Natural gas safety course offered

The Natural Gas Vehicle Institute (NGVI) will hold a one-day course entitled “Driver, Technician and Fuel Handler Safety Training for LNG Powered Vehicles” at the Doubletree Hotel in Anaheim, CA, on August 19.

Drivers, technicians and fuel handlers will be trained on the safety features of the LNG fuel storage and delivery system, as well as how to safely drive, fuel and maintain the technology, the group said. This includes LNG properties, equipment, evaluations and safe fueling and de-fueling. Registration may be done online at www.ngvi.com or by calling Kelly Cofer at 1-800-510-6484. Early registration, which offers a reduced cost, ends July 18.
