John White, president of U.S. Xpress, Inc. will deliver a keynote address entitled “One Year Later,” at the 2009 ALK Transportation Technology Summit, to be held April 20-22 in Princeton, NJ.
Themed Driving Cost Control and Safety through Technology, the conference will give advice to transportation, logistics and manufacturing companies on how to maximize operational efficiencies in the current economic conditions, ALK said.
The symposium will feature presentations, seminars, case studies and facilitated roundtables, as well as the opportunity to network, the company said. Topics that will be discussed include driver performance and operating cost management, improving safety and supply chain efficiency, innovations in wireless technology and in-cab solutions.
The event also includes a golf outing at the Tournament Player's Club - Jasna Polana in Princeton, and a dinner reception on the Princeton University campus.
