Jon Crull, CAFM, fleet manager for the City of Daytona Beach, FL, has become the 41st member of NAFA to earn lifetime honorary membership, the organization for fleet management professionals announced at its recent annual Institute & Expo in New Orleans.

The award, given for extraordinary professional and personal contributions to NAFA, isn't the end of the line for Crull, who has been named chair of the Curriculum Committee for the NAFA 2011 Institute & Expo in Charlotte, NC.

"To receive this award from my peers is absolutely fantastic," said Crull. "I'll cherish this forever."

Crull has never missed a board meeting, said NAFA president Chris Amos, CAFM. "This year's winner exemplifies what NAFA is all about," said Amos. "He is an excellent example of volunteerism and dedication to an industry. He has served his local NAFA chapter in nearly every capacity, including three terms as their chair. He has served on the national level as chair and vice chair of two large committees: the Arrangements Committee and the Public Safety Group. He has been a member of the national Nominating Committee and the National Curriculum Committee."
