Mack supports ATA’s Share the Road

Mack Trucks, Inc. has announced that it will serve as a primary sponsor of the American Trucking Assns. Share the Road program in 2008. This will be the OEM’s eighth consecutive year supporting the program.

“Safety is one of our company's core values, and the entire Mack family is very proud of our continued support of Share the Road,” said Paul Vikner, Mack president & CEO.  “By teaching motorists how to safely drive around large trucks, Share the Road is playing a key role in reducing the number of truck-related highway fatalities." 

Share the Road uses professional truck drivers with exemplary safety records as spokespeople. They travel to hundreds of U.S. cities conducting demonstrations and teaching car drivers how to safely drive around large trucks.
