Less-than-truckload carrier Mountain Valley Express is adding a facility to its eight-terminal network. The new terminal, located in Phoenix, AZ, includes 36 doors with 8,771 sq. ft. of dock space and 2,842 sq. ft of office space.

"The Phoenix metropolitan area is a growing market and a major connection point for Mountain Valley Express," said Scott Blevins, Mountain Valley Express president & CEO. "This expansion will allow us to continue our commitment to be a best-in-class carrier for our customers in the California and Nevada market while gaining new customers in the Arizona area."

The company will now cover seven states with access to 25 terminals through a partner network. Bob Johnson has been named terminal manager for the facility, which is scheduled to be fully operational on May 14.
