Accuride names Dauch president & CEO

Richard “Rick” Dauch is going take over as Accuride Corp.’s president and CEO, succeeding Bill Lasky who has served as Accuride’s interim President and CEO since Sept. 2008. Lasky has also served as Chairman of Evansville, IN-based Accuride since Jan. 2009 and will continue in that role

Richard “Rick” Dauch is going take over as Accuride Corp.’s president and CEO, succeeding Bill Lasky who has served as Accuride’s interim President and CEO since Sept. 2008. Lasky has also served as Chairman of Evansville, IN-based Accuride since Jan. 2009 and will continue in that role.

“Rick brings us extensive experience leading complex, global businesses, an in-depth understanding of manufacturing and supply chain systems, and proven leadership skills,” said Lasky. “These make him highly qualified to lead Accuride into the upturn in the commercial vehicle industry, successfully taking us to the next level of performance and delivering exceptional results for all of our stakeholders.”

Dauch joins Accuride from Michigan-based Acument Global Technologies, where he served as president and CEO for over two years, leading it through an extensive restructuring. Prior to joining Acument, Dauch spent 17 years with American Axle & Manufacturing (AAM), after a career with the U.S. Army that included qualification as an Airborne Ranger and as a light infantry company commander in the 10th Mountain Division.
