Bendix names vp of charging business

Mark McCollough has been named vice president & general manager of the charging business for Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems. McCollough was previously product line director for air treatment.

In his new position, McCollough will have executive oversight for the compressors, air treatment, dampers, engine air, and transmission management product lines.

“Mark has been instrumental in building the teams that help drive customer solutions and product advancements in our expanding air treatment business,” said Joe McAleese, Bendix president & CEO. “His appointment to the Bendix Leadership Committee will further enhance our ability to meet the strategic needs of the overall business and ensure our continued operational effectiveness.

“Mark not only has an outstanding knowledge of the evolving regulatory environment and keen insight concerning the commercial vehicle industry, he has strong relationships and a solid foundation of our global business,” McAleese added. “I am confident that our charging business will thrive under his leadership.”

McCollough joined Bendix in 2004 as engineering manager for compressors.
