Corey Tyler has been named new senior director of transportation at Menlo Worldwide Logistics, a subsidiary of Con-way Inc., according to company officials.
Tyler has 20 years experience in logistics and transportation management, has been named senior director of transportation, and will be responsible for carrier negotiations, relationship management, transportation strategy and vision and growing the transportation management business.
Tyler will be based in Aurora, IL, the company’s national transportation management center.
He joins Menlo after being with Baxter Healthcare Corporation, where he served most recently as director of logistics and global transportation. Previously, he senior level marketing, sales and transportation management positions at Hellman Worldwide Logistics, Kohl's Department Stores, Venture Stores Inc. and Norfolk Southern Corporation.
