Dan England, the incoming chairman of the American Trucking Assns. (ATA), has assumed the title of chairman of temperature-controlled carrier C.R. England.

England had been chairman and president. Replacing Dan England as president will be Dean England, who is being promoted from his role as CEO. Wayne Cederholm is shifting from COO to the CEO role and Chad England, formerly president-England North America, will take over as COO.

“This fall Dan England will become chairman of the American Trucking Assns.,” C.R. England President Dean England said. “This is an honor for Dan and our company. We congratulate him and acknowledge his willingness to serve our industry. We recognize we need to adjust our organizational structure to ensure continued effective operation.

For Chad England, the promotion marks his entrance into C.R. England’s senior management team. He is the fourth generation of the family to reach senior management level status, the company said.

“Chad England’s promotion is the result of our commitment to a strong succession and leadership development plan and the first of such moves planned for the future,” Dean England said.
