Pete Russo, a member of the Decisiv board of advisors, has joined the company’s senior management team as vice president of professional services and customer support.

Russo will lead strategy and product planning as well as customer support.

“We are very pleased to have Pete Russo join our senior management team,” said Dick Hyatt, president of Decisiv. “As an advisor to Decisiv for the last two years, he has made considerable contributions. In addition, Russo’s previous roles managing very large technology projects and formulating market and product strategies in the telecommunications services market will be a great addition to Decisiv as we continue to scale our business.”

Russo has worked at BT (formerly British Telecom) and Telcorida Technologies (formerly Bell Communications Research). He has been helping Decisiv with product development for the past two years as a member of the board of advisors.

“I was immediately impressed with the Decisiv Service Management Platform (DSMP), and especially with its position in the heavy truck service management market,” Russo said. “The rapid progress Decisiv has made evolving to provide cloud computing technology to fleets, service providers, manufacturers and OEMs is essentially transforming how service management is handled in this industry. I look forward to joining the senior management team and to helping accelerate Decisiv’s growth by providing innovative solutions to the industry and related market segments.”
