Federal Signal hires Wons

Oak Brook, IL-based Federal Signal Corp. has hired Michael Wons as vp & CIO effective immediately. He is charged with helping upgrade the company’s IT networks.

Wons previously worked for Microsoft Corp., most recently as lead technology strategist responsible for defining next-generation technology platforms for major global financial services organizations. He also served as CIO for a $2 billion division of Waste Management Inc.
