FedEx Freight, the LTL subsidiary of FedEx Corp., is now serving three additional markets in Mexico via new service centers in Toluca, Puebla and Veracruz.
The carrier said those additional terminals will help it reduce transit times by an average of 50% for customers shipping in the southeast region of Mexico, with shippers also provided the option of extended pick-up times in these locations and Villahermosa.
FedEx Freight, which provides LTL services in Mexico through an alliance with Auto Lineas America (ALA) via a network of 15 service centers, said its new terminals officially began operations on Aug. 1.
