FedEx Corp. is boosting standard rates for its FedEx Ground and FedEx Home Delivery services by an average of 4.9% effective January 1st.
FedEx previously noted net average shipping costs for its FedEx Express services will go up 3.5% – because a 5.5% rate increase will be offset by a 2% reduction in its fuel surcharge – for both U.S. domestic and export packages plus other freight.
Those changes also include an adjustment to the fuel surcharge for FedEx Ground shipments, which will be assessed on additional applicable transportation-related surcharges.
