Motorists who use the Interstate 5 corridor through Castaic, CA, are advised to watch for overnight freeway lane closures beginning Nov. 4 through Nov. 10 from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.

The lane closures will affect both the northbound and southbound sides of the freeway and will also include periodic closures of the Hasley Canyon Road on and off ramps, the Los Angeles County Public Works Dept. said.

The department said the lane closures are necessary to enable the installation of vehicle sensors in the freeway surface.
