“ATRI delivers the data gathering and analysis to inform the discussion on a host of headline issues, including onboard safety systems, freight performance measures and driver fatigue.  Armed with the facts, carriers can make the right choices for meeting the challenges ahead,” said Williams.

Williams recognized the leadership of Duncan, praising the former chairman for his work in getting ATRI to be recognized by FMCSA, FHWA and EPA as a critical source for industry research.

“With Doug at the helm, ATRI has become a key source for government agencies and motor carriers to turn for credible industry research,” Williams said.

“Steve is widely recognized as one of the most forward-thinking leaders in this industry,” said Gov. Bill Graves, ATA president & CEO. “Given his reputation as a proactive leader, he is well-positioned to advance ATRI’s research agenda in a way that will deliver results for the industry.”
