New CEO for DHL Americas

Stephen Fenwick, 58,iwill become CEO of DHL’s Americas Region effective January 1st. He will be responsible for the management of DHL Express business activities in 50 countries and territories in the firm’s Americas Region, which includes the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Central America, the Caribbean and South America

Stephen Fenwick, 58, will become CEO of DHL’s Americas Region effective January 1st. He will be responsible for the management of DHL Express business activities in 50 countries and territories in the firm’s Americas Region, which includes the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Central America, the Caribbean and South America.

Fenwick will take over from Roger Crook, 53, who will become CEO of DHL Express’ Asia/Pacific, Eastern Europe and Middle East Regions (APEM). Crook has served as a member of the DHL Express Global Management Board since 2007 and will continue to lead DHL Express’ Global Sales and E-commerce teams, the company said.

Fenwick began his 30-year career with DHL in the Middle East but later held positions in the U.S., Europe and Asia, working in the company’s aviation ground operations, import/export, customs and security related activities etc.

DHL noted he played a lead role in the development of DHL’s Central Asia Hub and the company’s expansion into India as well as the integration of Blue Dart’s domestic business into the DHL Express operations.
