Carbon build-up and wear are increasingly more common problems in modern fuel systems due to the lack of lubricants and cleaners, but a new fuel injector cleaner from Rislone promises to end many of the common problems.
The Rislone fuel injector cleaner with upper cylinder lubricant, from Bar’s Products, is designed to prevent rough idling and hard starts, noisy fuel injectors and pumps, engine hesitation, reduced power, and poor fuel economy.
“The biggest benefit of Rislone fuel injector cleaner is that it will save vehicle owners money, both at the pump and long-term,” said Clay Parks, Bar’s Products vice president of development. “By helping the fuel system run more efficiently, it improves mileage and saves on high fuel costs. And by protecting the fuel system and engine, it reduces wear and tear and associated repair costs. It really is your engine’s fountain of youth under a screw top.”
The upper cylinder lubricant additive lubricates the fuel pump, injectors, and upper cylinder to reduce the friction and wear that cause noise. The product also reduces carbon build-up that causes power loss, burned valves and broken rings, and cleans fuel injectors to improve fuel economy, the company said.
Rislone’s UCL lubricates the fuel system, from fuel tank to fuel lines, preventing rust and corrosion, Rislone said. It also lubricates the injectors to remove gum and varnish while leaving a film behind that prevents carbon from sticking.
The product can be used with all gasoline, ultra-low sulfur diesel, and E85 Flex-Fuel engines as well as with all unleaded, oxygenated, reformulated and bio fuels. It will not void any vehicle manufacturer’s warranty.
Rislone fuel injector cleaner is available in single-use 6-oz. bottle, a 32-oz. bottle, 5-gal. pail, and 55-gal. drum.
