Steven Sill named NTEA president

INDIANAPOLIS. Steven Sill, the president of Aspen Equipment Co. in Bloomington, MN, was elected the 47th president of the National Truck Equipment Assn. (NTEA) at the group’s annual Work Truck Show this week in Indianapolis, IN

INDIANAPOLIS. Steven Sill, the president of Aspen Equipment Co. in Bloomington, MN, was elected the 47th president of the National Truck Equipment Assn. (NTEA) at the group’s annual Work Truck Show this week in Indianapolis, IN.

Sill takes over for Allen Birmingham, national sales manager for Tommy Gate Co. in Phoenix. He began his career in the family business, Road Machinery & Supplies (RMS), while still in high school. After attending Montana State University and the University of Minnesota Duluth, Sill went on to work as rental coordinator at RMS Truck Equipment Div.’s Bloomington office.

In 1993, RMS was split into two separate companies with Sill taking over as president of the new Aspen Equipment on July 1, 1994.

NTEA also announced at the meeting that the organization has adopted a new logo which incorporates the NTEA acronym, along with the tagline “The Association for the Work Truck Industry.”
