Transport Labor Contract/Leasing Inc. (TLC) has announced that the company is partnering with Open Road Drivers Plan to provide drivers of TLC Companies with legal services for traffic-related incidents. It provides drivers and their spouses with access to local legal services across the United States and Canada in the case of an accident, whether it is moving or non-moving violation.
According to the agreement, the Open Road Drivers Plan will be made available to drivers at participating TLC-contracted companies through payroll deduction.
“We are excited to partner with TLC Companies as they continue to promote and reward safety among their drivers. I sincerely believe that Open Road Drivers Plan provides a complement to TLC’s Safety Top Dog Program and other safety efforts,” said Jake Sitler, gm of Open Road Drivers Plan.
“The TLC Companies is the country’s largest professional employer organization specializing in the trucking industry. As we celebrate our 25th anniversary, we are excited to be able to provide our drivers an additional service like Open Road Drivers Plan,” said Tim Coughlin, CEO of TLC. “This Plan is uniquely positioned to complement our already successful safety services programs, especially in light of all the new regulations through CSA 2010 being implemented this year.”
