Fifty-one truck and bus drivers have been arrested and charged with using fake names to obtain multiple commercial drivers licenses, according to a report in the New York Daily News.

Many drivers use aliases to obtain a CDL to hide traffic violations or arrests from employers, according to state officials. All 51 drivers face at least one felony count of offering a false instrument. Additional charges could also be filed, officials said.
