Volvo Trucks reorganizes management team

Volvo Trucks North America, a division of Sweden’s AB Volvo, is making changes to its executive organization, moving seasoned veterans to new positions within its U.S. operations

Volvo Trucks North America, a division of Sweden’s AB Volvo, is making changes to its executive organization, moving seasoned veterans to new positions within its U.S. operations.

Ron Huibers – who has served 15 years with parent firm AB Volvo’s global truck business – has been named VTNA’s new senior vp-sales and marketing. He will report directly to VTNA president& CEO Dennis Slagle.

Huibers most recently served as senior vp of international operations for Mack Trucks, Inc., VTNA’s sister OEM within the Volvo Group.

Scott Kress, formerly senior vp-sales and marketing, is now vp of sales, reporting to Huibers. Kress is a 30-year veteran of the truck manufacturing business and joined VTNA in 2002.

Finally, Russ Tedder is the new senior vp of truck remarketing for VTNA, reporting to Slagle. Tedder has more than 30 years of industry experience, working on both the OEM and carrier sides of the business. He joined VTNA back in 1986, and served most recently as vp-fleet sales.

VTNA, a division of Sweden’s AB Volvo, is a sister OEM of Mack Trucks Inc.
