Paccar Leasing (PacLease) and PeopleNet will hold a joint webinar on Thursday, March 24 at 11 a.m. EDT, to discuss proposed regulations and mandates for electronic onboard recorders (EOBRs) as proposed by the Dept. of Transportation’s Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration.

The free webinar will outline proposed regulations on EOBRs and how they help in monitoring hours-of-service regulations. EOBRs can also save fleets time and money by reducing the resources needed to handle driver trip information and paperwork. Two cases documenting this will be discussed during the webinar.

The event will be hosted by Jim Angel, PeopleNet’s safety, security and compliance manager, who will provide and HOS mandate update as well. Angel is a Certified Transportation Professional with more than 20 years of truckload, LTL, distribution, intermodal and private fleet management experience.

He is an instructor with the NPTC Fleet Institute.
