Xata hires Coughlan

Jay Coughlan is the new chairman & CEO of Minneapolis-based Xata Corp., replacing Craig Fawcett. Fawcett is returning to his former employer, heavy equipment maker Deere & Company.

Coughlan, previously president & CEO of Lawson Software, is in charge of Xata’s overall strategic direction and management of Xata and increasing the company’s visibility on Wall Street.
