Oil Purification Systems, Inc., manufacturer of the OPS-1 on-board oil refining system, has signed a distribution agreement with Larson Companies, headquartered in Bloomington, MN. Under the agreement, Larson Companies will provide sales, installation and customer support services for the OPS-1 system in their 17 upper Midwest locations. According to Oil Purification Systems, OPS-1 removes the solid and liquid contaminants from engine oil, virtually eliminating the need for routine oil changes.
“OPS has been on our radar for some time now, and we were impressed by the quality of the product, professional organization, and most importantly, the value the OPS-1 technology will bring to our customers. With such a compelling return on investment and the ‘green return’ of reducing waste oil, we believe this product will be standard equipment in the near future,” said John Meuwissen, director of parts for Larson Companies.
“We are very excited about our relationship with Larson Companies,” said Mitch Weseley, OPS president and CEO. “They are one of the largest and most respected Peterbilt distributors in the country and this agreement provides further evidence that the OPS-1 technology is changing the way companies think about extending oil drain intervals.”
Oil Purification Systems also recently announced a strategic partnership with Cascade Sierra Solutions. Through their Technology Showcase Centers, Cascade Sierra will provide OPS-1 production information, sales and financing support to customers operating along the I-5 corridor in Washington, Oregon, and California.
