Penske Truck Leasing has received certification from the National Institute of Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) for the company's Continuing Automotive Service Education (CASE) program

Penske Truck Leasing has received certification from the National Institute of Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) for the company's Continuing Automotive Service Education (CASE) program. According to the company, Penske is the first truck leasing, rental and logistics company to be certified for a program of this kind.

According to the company, Penske’s technician certification program utilizes web-based, hands-on and classroom training for its 5,000 U.S. vehicle maintenance technicians and customer service representatives. The company added that it expects to fully implement the program over the next 18 months.

“Maximizing vehicle performance and safety for our customers is at the heart of our efforts to have the industry's best-trained technicians,” said Mark Oliver, Penske Truck Leasing senior vp of field maintenance. “Improving the qualifications and skills of our people is central to meeting this objective.”
