FreightScan appoints executive vp

FreightScan, LLC has named Randy Richards executive vp of sales & service. He will work to establish a global installation base for the company’s automated dimensioning systems and security services.

Richards comes to FreightScan from US Airways, where he was vp of cargo sales. He also previously worked for Emery Worldwide, CEVA Logistics, and AIT Worldwide Logistics before moving to America West in 2002, which merged with US Airways in 2005.

FreightScan offers cargo-dimensioning and cargo-screening products including the FS100 overhead mounted scanner for cargo facilities and the FL100 forklift-mounted dimensioning scanner.
