Nominations are currently being accepted for the 2009 Technician of the Year award, designed to recognize the technician that best exemplifies the profession. Candidates will be graded on his or her technical and mechanical experience, service specialties and overall contributions to the industry.

Commercial vehicle fleets and HD machine shop managers can nominate a technician or shop machinist until December 31, 2008, and the winner will be announced during Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week (HDAW) 2009 in Orlando from February 16 to 19, 2009.
