Ken Torok is the new president of United Parcel Service’s global freight forwarding operations, rejoining the company after serving as president of UPS’s Asia Pacific Region from 2003 through mid 2008.
In his new capacity, Torok will direct the UPS global organization responsible for strategy, performance and revenue growth for forwarding services. He will oversee commercial air and ocean carrier relationships as well as coordinating trade lane development and international freight sales.
Torok’s career at UPS spans 33 years, including stints in Europe where he held various managerial posts and played a key role in the integration of the company’s ground and air operations in Europe, Middle East and Africa.
