Utility Trailer plant wins safety award

Utility Trailer’s manufacturing plant in Paragould, AR received the Plant Safety Award presented by the Truck Trailer Manufacturers Association (TTMA) for the fourth time in five years, the company announced.

Utility Trailer’s manufacturing plant in Paragould, AR received the Plant Safety Award presented by the Truck Trailer Manufacturers Association (TTMA) for the fourth time in five years, the company announced.

The plant was deemed to have the best overall safety record of manufacturing facilities that performed more than 750,000 work hours in 2007. The Paragould plant also received the TTMA award in 2006, 2005, and 2003.

The Paragould plant manufactured its 75,000th dry van in 2007, the company said. The facility employs 450 workers.
