Mack Trucks Inc. will be hosting its eleventh annual community and family event, the Bulldog Roundup, in Hagerstown, MD, on Saturday, September 18, 2004. The event is aimed at raising money for nonprofit groups in the area.

The Bulldog Roundup kicks off at 6:30 a.m. with an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast. Throughout the day, the Washington County Lions Clubs will provide refreshments, country ham sandwiches, funnel cakes, homemade ice cream, and more. All the proceeds will go to local charities. Admission and parking is free.

There will be a Mack and non-Mack Truck Show and Rodeo from 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Drivers with a valid CDL may enter and there is no entry fee for trucks in the show.

A variety of free games, and arts & crafts events will be offered to children, as well a “Drive-A-Mack-Truck-For-A-Buck” event available.

According to Mack, the first Bulldog Roundup was held at the company’s Hagerstown Powertrain Operations plant in 1993. The celebration has become a major Washington County event, raising more than $100,000 for various nonprofit groups in the area.
