USF Goes Paperless

USF Logistics Services Inc. has introduced a new Internet-based reporting system for reverse logistics shipments

USF Logistics Services Inc., a subsidiary of Chicago-based LTL conglomerate USF Corp., has introduced a new Internet-based reporting system for reverse logistics shipments via its USF Net online service. The web-based reporting and analysis package is being made available through the USF Processors Group, the company said.

Returns management reports are provided to customers with information on products processed, vendor debits, and store credits on an individual and consolidated basis, USF said. Formally only available on paper, the reports can now be generated electronically and delivered online in more customized formats, said Denis Reilly, USF Logistics’ executive vp.

“This is the next logical step in continuing the innovations to our material handling and data management service,” he said. “The USF Net products benefit our customers by eliminating paper reports, making historical records available online, and providing a dynamic analytical tool to help control returns and better manage the process.”
