The Environmental Protection Agency’s SmartWay program has recently signed up 23 new partners, bringing the total number of partners to 84. SmartWay is a government-industry partnership designed to increase energy efficiency while boosting the public image of the participating companies.

“The SmartWay Transport Partnership is rapidly gaining momentum, and we look forward to working with our existing Partners as you lead the way in reducing fuel consumption in the freight industry,” stated Mitch Greenberg, SmartWay program manager.

Of the 84 partners, 17 are qualified to use the logo so far.
