Household goods forwarder Arpin International Group has opened an office in the Toronto area, expanding the company’s presence into Canada.

“In concert with our international operations in the United Kingdom and Singapore, the addition of an office in Canada will enable us to provide better and faster worldwide service to our customers,” said Bob Sullivan, senior vp of Arpin Group, the forwarder’s parent company.

Becoming the third international office after Arpin U.K. in London and Arpin Asia in Singapore, this new location will collaborate with U.S. offices and partners as a “move management hub” for domestic and international clients wishing to relocate workers throughout Canada, said Sullivan.

The addition of the Toronto office complements Arpin’s recent interline agreement with Great Canadian Van Lines. “This improves the delivery of customers’ household goods by increasing the cross border and intra-Canadian service range and capacity while reducing costs for both companies,” said Sullivan. “Arpin Canada will serve as a customer service center for international moves, Canadian domestic moves and cross border moves between the U.S. and Canada.”
