Autocar LLC has announced making Cummins ISL and ISM the exclusive engines available to power its low-cab-over-engine Xpeditor truck models.

"We at Autocar are putting our full confidence behind Cummins," said James Johnston, Autocar Truck president. "Cummins' support and assistance during our business start-up and their continued support in the growth of Autocar has been unprecedented in this industry. Autocar believes in Cummins' current product line and in their technology going forward into 2007 and beyond," he added. "We are confident in the abilities of our two companies to succeed in the Xpeditor truck line."

According to Johnston, Cummins brings an extensive parts and service network to Autocar customers, with over 3,500 certified service locations for heavy- and medium-duty trucks across North America.
