Brake Pro Ltd. has introduced the CCM2423—a heavy-duty friction designed for longer lining life, longer drum life, and quieter braking. The product was developed specifically for line haul and vocational applications with 23,000-lb. GAWRs, the manufacturer said.

This product utilizes a CCM formula that offers these advantages, according to Brake Pro:

  • conformable brake lining offers greater surface contact
  • transfer film technology enhances compatibility between lining and drum
  • metallic fibers keep brake lining running cooler
