Bridgestone Firestone inks tire deal with TA

Bridgestone Firestone North American Tire (BFNT) and TravelCenters of America (TA) have agreed on a seven-year pact to sell Bridgestone and Firestone commercial tires at TravelCenters of America and Petro Stopping Centers.

The agreement also makes Bridgestone is exclusive premium truck tire offered by both TA and Petro:Lube truck maintenance and repair centers, the company said.

“We are thrilled to announce such an unprecedented partnership among Bridgestone Firestone, TravelCenters of America and Petro Stopping Centers,” said Singh Ahluwalia, president, truck and bus tires, BFNT.

“The truck maintenance and repair shops of both brands are vital to our customer service and growth strategy. The TravelCenters of America and Petro:Lube truckstop network helps us fulfill our promise to our national fleet and owner-operator customers by being more accessible than any other truck tire brand. This exclusive agreement with TA is a real triumph,” added Ahluwalia.
