Cadec Global has introduced the latest edition of its DeliveryTracker mobile application, an optional software component to its fleet management systems that extends a company’s supply chain to the point of delivery.

According to Cadec, DeliveryTracker gives fleets bar-code scanning, full detail for invoices and manifests, payment and credit handling, electronic signature capture and in-cab printing.

The system can be used with a broad range of handheld devices, including Honeywell/Handheld Products, Intermec and Motorola/Symbol.

The data is conveyed as an XML file to the Cadec on-board computer and relayed via wi-fi or cellular network back to the fleet’s central office, the company said.
