New Albany, OH-based Commercial Vehicle Group (CVG)—a Class 8 truck component supplier of suspension seat systems, interior trim systems and cab structures—is promoting Fred Pippen to director of quality for CVG Americas.

He’ll be responsible for overall quality systems management, directing supplier quality management and development, supporting emerging market supplier identification and development, and coordination of customer quality support.

Before joining CVG in 2000, Pippen spent 17 years with Cummins Engine Co. and General Motors Corp.
