Roadcheck ’05 set for June 7-9

The Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance announced that Roadcheck 2005 would take place June 7-9 throughout the U.S., Canada and Mexico. This year’s event will place particular emphasis on commercial vehicle security and seatbelts.

The Maryland State Police will host a media kickoff on June 7 at the Hyattstown, MD, inspection station on Interstate 270 Southbound.

Roadside inspections will take place for 72 continuous hours, with participation by FMCSA, NHTSA, TSA, Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration, Canadian Council of Motor Transport Administrators and the Mexico Secretariat of Communication and Transportation.
